Through this project, I will utilize various research and design techniques to develop a prototype that addresses the needs of Citymapper users, ultimately resulting in a refined feature that enhances the app’s overall usability. By applying the Design Thinking process, I aim to create a solution that simplifies the ticket-purchasing process and streamlines the user experience. Specifically, my goal is to address the common user pain point of having to purchase public transport tickets through different channels. Available through both a mobile app and online website, Citymapper is free of charge and provides a comprehensive range of travel-related features.Īs part of my pre-work assignments for the UX/UI Ironhack Bootcamp, I have been tasked with prototyping an additional feature for the Citymapper app. Its main objective is to provide users with a seamless travel experience by consolidating diverse public transport data into a single platform.
